Feed My Starving Children (FMSC) is a non-profit organization that coordinates the packaging and distribution of food to those in need. Each spring, the Catholic Center at UGA partners with FMSC to carry out a food packaging event that provides thousands of meals for children in need.
2024 Feed My Starving Children Event
The Catholic Center is again sponsoring the Athens Feed My Starving Children food packing event in partnership with the UGA Athletic Association. This year’s event will be April 19-21 in Stegeman Coliseum. We will be packing 175,000 meals to feed children in desperate need, many of whom would starve without this food. We need 900 volunteers working 2-hour shifts, and we need to raise $55,000 to pay for the ingredients. Financial support and volunteers are needed! Go to give.fmsc.org/athens to donate and register.
