While weekly donations aid in meeting immediate needs, The Catholic Center endowment funds are vital to ensuring we can fulfill our mission both now and in the future. An endowment fund helps to financially sustain the efforts of the community, providing a permanent means of support. The more an endowment fund receives, the more it grows, and the larger the grant distribution we can utilize or reinvest each year.
Our endowment funds are professionally managed and invested by the Catholic Foundation of North Georgia. For more information about endowment funds and supporting The Catholic Center at UGA endowment funds, please contact the foundation here.
The Catholic Center has multiple endowment funds with varying intentions. They are listed below:
- Catholic Center at the University of Georgia Endowment Fund: Supports campus ministry programs and a priest and/or deacon to be assigned to them, as well as maintenance of the facility at the UGA Catholic Center.
- UGA Catholic Center Dei Gratia Fund: The Dei Gratia Fund will provide assistance to Catholic students, faculty, and staff with financial needs including the staff of the UGA Catholic Center. Needs may include books, rent, food, utilities, other living expenses, or healthcare needs.
- Gries Family Endowment Fund: To support the events and programs at The Catholic Center at UGA, as well as the mission of the Catholic Foundation of North Georgia.
By including The Catholic Center at UGA in your will, you’re joining a family of supporters who’ve made a lifelong commitment to nurturing our community for generations to come. Please consider supporting us in this way.
